Though silently searching for the words to convey where I am in life, yet I'm here. Reminds me of the line from The Color Purple. That's about how I feel right now. No one knows the depths of my heart, regardless of the changes that have transpired since I last blogged consistently. I took a moment to reread some of my old writings, and I'm amazed at how much better of a state of mind I was in back then. Things have never been perfect, but I guess the lesson I'm learning (clearly not learned) is that you (I) should stop while you are in your valley. If only for a brief moment.
I have a new job, and ironically the setting reminds me of my first job out of undergrad. Much more difficult work, but the environment is quite similar. I wonder if the new surroundings will help me recapture what has obviously been lost.......(my sanity).

The abstract
Often times open doors, whether abstract or tangible are entrenched
with the pressures of forceful wind; seemingly without regard, against the
motivations of the presumed progress. Each
soul, man or woman finds pleasure in the idea of what is to come and what fruit
bears from the other side of the abstract.
However, it’s my belief that that moment, or rather that power of the
counteracting energy is either disregarded or likened to slightest pin prick in
the ones vein. Being left unattended
overtime may cause the soul to lose not only it’s purpose, but it’s very
existence. It’s often said that each
open door brings forth new opportunity, however the muse that attempt to codify
this abstract art form typical neglects the lost opportunity. Perhaps Einstein was right. Each proposed step into a new realm is countered
by the loss in the opposite domain, coupled with the resistance to achieve an
unknown, proverbial new destination.
