Can Fish Drown?

Someone asked me that question a few days ago, and I have been pondering it ever since, lol!

Anyways back to the post. Well it's Tuesday August 17th 2004. This past weekend was cool & a learning experience in itself. Friday, moms and I went to Pappadeaux for dinner since tomorrow is her birthday. I wanted to send her some flowers to the job, but I've done that before, so I must come up with something a little bit more original. Since I don't have a significant other, I get to spoil the heck outta my moms, lol. Even if I were involved, she would still get spoiled. You know what they say, " you can judge a man, by how he treats his moms ". So I'd treat my wife with the same respect. Saturday, I ended up in Macon..........how, I still don't know. You remember that middle school sweetheart I posted about a few weeks ago, well she needed a ride from the airport, and low and behold who wants to be the good sameritan. So I go from Hartsfield-Jackson to Macon and back to Atlanta in like 4 hours. All with my own gas money. And to think, the heffa wouldn't even stop by to see me when she was in Atlanta. Needless to say, that was my learning experience. To the masses: Yes, I do, do dumb stuff on occasions, but its all with good thoughts in mind. So the block party was tight....met some bruhs I hadn't seen in a while, and some I'd never met before. Same for the sorors. Man Im telling you, between Atlanta, Louisville, and Maryland....Alpha Kappa Alpha has some fine sorors, lol!! Gotta keep it real. Sunday was probably the downer of the weekend, because I still haven't found a church to go to. That has really been the issue with me for the past month or so. The weeks just seem to be mounting up, but Im sure something is going to break through for me, so Im gonna just keep holdin on.

I hope this week goes well. I register for classes tomorrow (Wednesday) so I hope that goes well. Im only taking 2 classes this semester so it shouldn't be that difficult. I think everything is going to go through with the financial aid so that is a plus. Other than that, I have to go out to Carrollton today hopefully for the final time.......yeahhhhhhhhhhh! Im almost done with the critiques of my research and I am hoping that it gets published, so yall pray for ya boi. It's suppose to be published in the Georgia Journal of Science.

Well I don't have anything to rant and rave about today, so I guess I can consider it a blessing, lol. I'm sure something interesting will come up, and I'll be back on here with an [edit]. See you guys soon.
