Ok, Ok, Ok

.....so it's 3:34, and I'm ready to dart out the door. I actually feel like I got a vast amount of things accomplished today. Let's see......Georgia Power got there money (old & new, lol)...Capital One got there money (old & new, lol)...Sprint is going to get there's (sooner or later, lol)....but where is mine???

Well, I have to say that today, I actually took time out for KJD in the financial department. The other day, I was about to go out to do some window shopping at the mall. Well I normally do the whole khaki's + dress shirt + dress shoes ordeal. But that day I wanted to dress down, and do my windpants + teeshirt + tennis shoes.......well the only problem with that was....the tennis shoes I had.....looked a hot mess. And it was only then that I realized, ya boi needed some new shoes!!!!! So during lunch today, myself and a co-worker of mine went to Underground for lunch. For those of you who know me....you know that the only time I actually shop is "spur of the moment", which is far and few between. I try to stick to my current wardrobe unless something is definitely needed. I figure, I'll wait until I get more financially stable before I go off splurging (sp) and all. But anywho, I saw some Nike's in Footlocker that I just had to have. Now I'm not one for paying a "grip" for some shoes, and these where like $79.99, which is borderline "expensive", but I coughed up the money anyways. I still have to go back there and pick them up at 4:00pm since I didn't want to bring them back to the office and have everyone asking me to "let them see".

Today at work has been fine...I can't complain. I finally am getting the hang of this database system we are working with! I got a whole lotta bills paid today, and I also booked my flight to D.C. for my Fall Vacation. I'm kinda nervous though....never been North of North Carolina on the East Coast. I talked to my folx up there, and we are suppose to drive up to New York City just to walk around Central Park, lol...black folx! I've been meaning to see how much it would cost to ride the train from D.C. to New York? They have a passenger train that will go speeds up to 130mph, so that should cut down on trip time, lol. Anywho.....that's about it for today! I'm going to watch Mr. 3000 tonight, and study for my Econ test on monday...........

Contrary to popular beliefs, I've decided to delve into HTML and create my own NEW TEMPLATE! It may take me some time, but within a few weeks, expect a change....maybe in a few days......but know that this weeks "Artwork of the Week" will definitely be featured as a mainstay in it......That picture is sooo tight, and reminicent of our youth today!
