Ok, so I admit it! I declare it in the Name. I succumb to it's mighty wrath! I surrender it!
For the past 2 days I have been utterly HAPPY! I can't say that I've felt this way in quite some time, so I have to stop this morning and give thanks to He who is and who is to come!
I know satan is gearing up to rear his ugly head, but this time, I really think that I'm ready!
Ok, with that out of the way, please allow me to address the misses (as she shall be deemed), who took the liberty to post anonymously on my site, lol!
And I quote:
Hello KJD,I have been reading your blogs and have come to the decision that I do not sympathize with your women "problems". I am sure...and I want you to really think about this before you react...that there is at least ONE woman that you have overlooked (for some reason or another) that is not the typical person that you have been dealing with. I am sure you have run into, at least, one woman that does not fit into any of the categories in the previous post. But, and I want you to admit this to yourself, we (as humans) would rather feel sorry for ourselves, because then we have an excuse. Now, there is another possibility. This woman could be right under your nose and you have not recognized her "potential" because God knows that you are not ready/ripened. But, I am sure she is there!
Now, I've been working on not commenting whole heartedly on another's opinion. I truly believe that that is one of the greatest gifts that God gave us as "free-moral" agents. Although, just as an individual has an opinion about a life they may not know to the fullest extent, allow me to smooth the playing field and express my thoughts about the above comment.
You see, the glamourous part about blogging is that it trully is "the individuals" thoughts, prems, and opinions. I use to have this "disclaimer" link on my page, that fully described how I felt about others giving their opinions about my works and/or thoughts, but due to the new design, it isn't up now! Patience....it's coming back. But to the "misses" that chose not to sympathize with my woman problems, I fully respect your thoughts, but in reading through my last post, I do not recall asking for any sympathy or agreeance to what I wrote. They were simply my thoughts. And as far as there being at least "one" woman that I've overlooked, I wouldn't say that I've "overlooked" her, but moreso the women that I've met as I've matured, either 1. weren't at the same point in life 2. had indifferences on one level or another that would not produce a fruitful relationship, and hence a friendship often times maintained or 3. and being truthful, the chemistry just wasn't there, for what ever reason or rationale.
*sidebar - I really can't believe I'm giving as much thought to this in the middle of my work day*
Ok, out of all that you said in your comment "misses", I guess the only thing that I can fully agree with is that my "cookie-cut" symbolization of women was a generalization. But you have to walk only a mile in my shoes to see my rationale, and considering you can't feel the soles of my peds, then truthfully you "wouldn't" understand. I concur that there are some "non-cookie-cut" women in the world, but as I live my life (and it's getting better day by day), I'm realizing that the REAL BLACK WOMAN is far and few between! NOW THAT IS A STATEMENT I STAND BEHIND! And I use the term "Real black woman" in the context that a "Real Black Man" would see her. And I guess you'll say that I'm proving your point that there is "one" out there that I have not met! Which is cool, because if you have really read my blog you would have read the many posts where I have stated clearly that "there is one out there for KJD". But oh, well.....better days!
*subject change*
What's going on in the World as of 9/14/05?
1. I get paid tomorrow!
2. Has anyone really been watching the hearings on the new nominee for Cheif Justice? They are really drilling this guy! Personally I don't like him, simply because Bush nominated him! Bush could have nominated Jesse Jackson, and I would have still had indifferences.
3. Katrina...nuf said.
4. Dontrelle Willis and his likeness to Satchel Page
5. Barry Bonds closing in on Babe Ruth ( 703 vs. 715)
6. Nobody is really mentioning all that is happening over in IRAQ these days. I read this morning where 100 people DIED in bombing in Bagdad.
*Ok, work just picked up....gotta run. Be back soon*
Till the clock toll another hour,
God....your Grace is sufficient.
