Delta Habits

Ok, so I'm winding down from a long weekend. Tomorrow begins another week, and another 5 days of interesting goingz on in the times and life of KJD. But before I dive into the new week, allow a brothers to release from this long weekend.

Friday:
What did I do on friday? (I really can't remember). Let's see, I got off work, had to take my car pool person to the UPS store to get something mailed. Ohhh, yeah I remember now! So after that, Remix came by!!!! That's my boy. For about a month now he has really been on this whole "I'm going to propose" tip. You see remix and tufts (for the sake of giving away her name) have been together for a while now. We all know each other through mutual aquaitences (mainly our greek organizational connection). Well anywho, Remix had finally decided that Friday was the day to do it. So after work he and I got up at my place to play NCAA 2006. We broke bread about the situation, and since we didn't have to be to the location (SunDial) until 9 got a few games in. So around 8:30 we headed downtown for the big shabang. Tufts was totally unaware of the situation, and thought she was going to a cocktail party. So Remix did the whole suit thing, and I did my thing (debonair as usual). So we get to the place, and Tufts is totally surprised. We sit down (Remix, Tufts, Tuft's Sister, and I), and Remix begins to tell Tufts how much he's enjoyed her, and yada, yada, yada.....needless to say, he got down on one knee, and did the dang thing! I think she said "yes" about 15 thousand times! I'm proud of those two. I think they make a great couple, and the fact that they are both genuine makes it even better. So Friday was a great day! The beginning of a new union! I think the wedding is going to be in '06! Congrats, Congrats, Congrats!

Saturday:
Now really, what did I do on Saturday? I know that I woke up rather late, since we were out late on friday. Class was cool, but I'm really not feeling the Politics 101 in a New Venture Analysis class. But I think I'll reserve that for another post, on another day, lol. Afterwards, we played softball out in Lithonia! And again, I came 2ft away from going deep. I think I need to do a few more pushups, lol.

Sunday:

Church! Enough said. Pastor has been ministering for the past 6 weeks or so about Destination Life...in Abundance...to the full....till it over flows....If you guys can bear with me until lunch tomorrow, I'll explain in more detail, because this has been so awaking to me!
