Hey! It's Monday! Almost time for me to get out of the office today. But before I do, I wanted to put some thoughts down on paper (or in 0's and 1's, which ever you prefer).
Ironically, Monday has been a lot better than Sunday. I got up this morning, did some sit-ups and push-ups. Showered and was out the door just in time to hit a "traffic free" ride into work. Now normally that would be a good thing, but I must emphasize how this is more than just a "good thing". You see I live just under 2 miles away from my job. Just across the "river". You can actually see the building from where I live. Trouble is....there's a "river" between my apartment and my job. And not just any river...but a river that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. So needless to say, there is no "bridge" that goes across and suits everyone's fancy. No...there is a tunnel, yep a two lane, bottle-neck tunnel, that makes my ride go from what would have been a 8min. ride as much as a 25 min. ride. Can you believe that....I actually sat in traffic 25 mins to go 2 miles. That's a shame. I really feel like the other cars are teasing me while I sit there...inching closer and closer to the person in front of me bumper.
But not this morning! This morning....NO TRAFFIC. I think it was because of a minor fender bender on the interstate, but regardless No Traffic (fyi -no one was hurt in the accident).
(Just looked out the window....looks like there's no traffic going home either). This might turn out to be a good week after all!

I wish I wish I worked 2 miles from the house....it would be nice.
I live in the ATL too...the traffic is ridiculous...I take local streets all the way to work!
