Recapping....

Wow, it's really been 14 days since I've last blogged. I wish I could go into more detail, but in lieu of here are a few happening in my life...

1. My boss is not a good manager. Why, because she has no way of relating to those that don't act exactly like she does. I remember classes back at KSU where we discussed this very debacle. Many companies promote people instead of promoting managers/leaders. I live in this world every day. Perhaps it's because there is a racial/cultural divide between myself and my counterpart next door, and my manager can relate to their "cultural affiliations", but that doesn't make it right. I received an email this morning from a friend of mine who tried to tell me that "Life isn't right", and that things just "are the way they are". My response to her was that in my opinion, "Life is right", God created life, so I'm a believer that what He created was for Go(o)d. It's my belief that the people (who have the ability to choose) have corrupted life and have manipulated the system to belief that Life isn't right. Needless to say, I can't hold my tongue much longer. I wish I could go into more detail....but I need my job, lol.

2. I've got to get a new car. I've been putting it off for about a year now. The Kia just isn't what she use to be. I've looked at a few, so hopefully I'll have something nailed down by August.

3. Speaking of money, I've got to get rid of my house in Atlanta. It's causing a financial burden. After renting it out fell through, I've been slacking on finishing up the paperwork with my company so that they'll buy it back. Seems like every month I'm wasting another $1,000.

4. I met someone, who has since become a good friend of mine. I'm a firm believer that God puts people in your life for reasons, seasons, and lifetimes. I'm eager to see where this goes. I'll keep you guys clued in on this one as time progresses.

5. Lord willing I'll be back at it again this summer. I submitted my application for school last week. This time I'm going to pursue my Masters of Economics. I'm a little iffy about jumping back into school mode, but there are a lot of long and short term benefits. Short term, I can defer my student loans, and take the education credit on my taxes next year, lol. Long term, I think it will go well with my career pursuit. I just hope my current department (Accounting) is willing to pay for it, lol.

Well....I'll be back...gotta get back on the grind. It's 9:45....maybe my boss will speak to me before lunch, lol.
