Smooth Jazzin

It's a hump day Wednesday!!!! While Wednesdays aren't necessarily my favorite day of the week, I'm sure glad it's one day closer to the weekend. Especially when the weekend includes me not having to work on Monday, lol.

I'm challenged! No not challenged as in mentally unstable, but challenged at work, and that really does wonders for my soul. Now I might come back and blog a month from now and say how bored I am; but for now, I'm challenged....I'm valued.....I'm appreciated, and so are my opinions. Who would have ever thought the B.S. and M.S (as Time calls it) that I put up with in college would have paid this much of internal dividends.

Side note: You know, I'm writing about Time a lot these past few days....I wonder how often she reads this thing, lol. I remember reading other blogs back in the day and how they ran into issues with people they "liked" reading their blogs. You know...I guess because she and I talk about most everything, then there isn't really anything that would cause an uproar. Then again...I'm sure of these days I'm going to go off the deep end on one of my posts, about something totally arbitrary.....at that point we shall reassess.

I like smooth jazz music....you know, the kind of background music that you hear at nice, upscale lounges. The kind of music that you can just close your eyes....bob your head to the beat...and drown out everything else around you.....that kind. I normally put it on when I want to get focused on something, or if I'm working on something really important. Needless to say, right now I'm jamming something called "Relaxing Jazz"...from some studio in St. Lucia (via Windows Media Player). Sooooo relaxing.

side note: Just got pulled away by my boss....looks like someone was trying to say that I was late on delivering something.....good thing I had all my t's crossed and i's dotted. At some point I'm going to blog about what I do for a living now....but I'm a little leery about it right now......so back to the regular scheduled program.

I'm not sure whether or not I mentioned that I'm back in school....again. This time Economics is my calling....and a Masters in 2010 sounds nice. I say that to say that I think some one owes me some money. You see back in January I shoveled out nearly $3G's to this institute of higher education for two classes. Well what I neglected to do was fill out the tuition reimbursement from my company. Well, as you can tell, it' s now May, and classes are over (MacroEcon - B+ & International Trade - A). Regardless of how happy I am about the grades that I got this semester, I'll be even more elated when/if my company decides to reimburse me the $3G's, lolololol. If they so choose to do, I'm definitely going to take a "really" nice summer vacation....

Maybe the Media Player is an omen.....maybe St. Lucia will be the destination....do you need a passport to go to St. Lucia? (stream of questions arise)......how about Cancun...H1N1 is subsiding, and it's probably cheap....how about New York...I've always wanted to do that....how about a cruise down to the Bahamas.....oh...choices choice choices. Then again...the biggest question probably is....should I ask Time to go..................

until next time,
Journey
