Gooooood Evening Vietnam! So sue me.....I made it online again on this wonderful Sunday evening, and I just had to post. Ok, so I'll jump right into it! You know how you have those things in life that you are desperately trying to overcome.......those things that you just know that God doesn't want in your life, but somehow Satan continues to "manifest" them into reality.....well tonight, I took a huge hurdle in overcoming a big obstacle in my life! *Whew* *wiping brow*
So I went to World Changers Church International again today. I was suppose to meet Ms. SP at the door again, since I don’t really know too many people there….but you know that God always has a way of working things out for the betterment of His Kingdom. So here is how it went down this morning. I got up kind of late, and didn’t get out the door till like 7:10am. Well I was suppose to meet her at the door at 7:30am, so you can do the math and know that since I had to stop and get gas, and it’s a 15 minute ride to College Park, that I just wasn’t going to make it in time. Well I got there right at 7:40am, and had just missed her (so she says in a phone conversation this evening). Well anyways, I matriculated around the sanctuary, and had decided I’d sit about halfway back, since I didn’t know if I’d feel comfortable sitting towards the front without Ms. SP. Well the usher asked me if I wanted to take a seat near the front, but I told him that I’d rather take one about halfway back in the church. Well at that point, something hit me, and I changed my mind and decided I’d head towards the front. Well, the usher further down, began to escort me further and further down the audience. I ended up in the 5th row!!!
Side note: Ok, about this whole “where I sit in church thing”. For those of you who don’t know, I come from a little old country town, and I’m use to having an intimate vibe in church and with the pastor, so I’ve always been self conscious about sitting far back at WCCI. I just feel like I won’t get that whole intimate feeling, either during praise & worship, or during the message. So me ending up on the 5th row definitely suited my needs….Thank you Lord!
[End]
Well he preached today on Fear, which has been part of his ongoing series. For further info about the message, check out my daily inspirations http://www.walkingwithchrist.blogspot.com/ (which should be up before tonight is over).
Anywho, so we got out of church around 10:30 and I was able to make it home right at 11:00am. So for the rest of the day, I have really been trying to enjoy myself and get some much needed rest for the up and coming week. Hopefully I’ll hear something back about a new job, and I have my next to last Case Study to present tomorrow (Monday) in my Decision Analysis Econ class. I actually don’t have to speak in this presentation, so that takes a huge burden off my shoulders, lol. But I’m quite sure that I’ll get stuck adding in my two cents into the presentation.
Backtracking….well lets see, Friday, we went to this AKA’s coming out party, which was cool…for the most part. I met up with some of my chapter bruhs and my line brothers. We had a good old time as we also brought in the Anniversary of Alpha Phi Alpha….98 Years and Counting!!! I took KM with me, so that he could meet some of my chapter bruhs since he claims we don’t ever come out, lololol… but I had a good time. I haven’t figured out why God has brought He and I close as friends, but I’m quite sure he has his own purpose! I’m just a sheep in his flock!
Saturday….what “did” I do Saturday? Well since we didn’t get in until 3:30am, I slept in till around 10:30am. TD (roommate) and I went to Waffle House after the party, and reminisced about the past. Ohhhhhhhhh, that’s what I did on Saturday……NCAA Football 2005! Yeah, I remember now, you see I had originally planned on playing all night Friday, but since we went to the party, and I had to help KM and KD move some furniture, I didn’t get a chance to. Not to mention I got a ticket for not have my seatbelt on……those dang “click it or ticket folx” hahaha. So Saturday was devoted to PS2, and I actually got to sleep at a reasonable time!
Well its getting late, and plus I really need to update my other page, so I’ll catch up with you guys tomorrow……..hope you all have a blessed and wonderful night!

Same here :-) Enjoyed the post on fear.
Peace.Literally.
hey is WCCI, Creflo Dollar's church, the one with the gold dome on Old National, or is it another one? I was always curious about the church, but was kind of put off by the hugeness of it.
