Wrapping it Up!

Ok, So I've broke down today as the clock winds closer to 4pm, and have decided to type my thoughts down in 0's and 1's so that I won't forget them as I normally do.

Wow o' Wow....what's been going on in the life of KJD. Well lets begin with Thanksgiving. As usual we had a large crowd for breakfast. But this year, instead of the normal 15-20 guests, we ended up serving nearly 30 some odd people. It got to the point to where I thought Joe Blows were just walking in off the street. But all in all it was good. Thanksgiving Dinner was more laid back though. Not as many people. More of my immediate family and friends came to my folx house. I promise my mother cooked more food than was needed. I remember waking up Friday morning only to find the 2nd turkey "uncut"....and a second pan of dressing that wasn't touch...needless to say, that by Sunday it was all gone though. Greedy Fort Valley folx, lol! I was kind of under the weather on Thanksgiving though. I spent most of the day with my best friend's..."Theraflu and Alka Seltzer." Friday me and KS hung out, which was cool. I finally, after about a month and a half got me another steak....this time it was from Waffle House though. Anywho, I didn't do much shopping over the holidays though, due to a lack of funding, but I did come across some slacks that I'd been wanting. They were the microfiber kind......those are the only ones I buy now a days. I enjoyed hanging out with my folx that weekend........I remember thursday night, we all got together at a friends house, and I promise you guys, it seemed like my entire teamfrom the 1999 PCHS Trojan Football Team was there. If I'm correct, there was a LB, three CB's, two TE's, a DE, a WR, a FB, and a RB.....I'll use their positions to refrain from mentioning their names. Anywho, the funny thing was that, we were playing NCAA 2005 Football on PS2 when this group of girls came through. Now normally most guys would just drop the controllers and focus on the girls....but not this time...all the guys acted as if they weren't even there....mostly because of the game...but also because they weren't the most attractive bunch either. But all in all it was good fun. I kinda miss hanging out with those guys though. It really brought back fond memories. We sat up till around 1:30 reminising about playing in the Georgia Dome, and playing for the State Championship....about all the dumb things we use to do before games.....ahhhh the memories.

So monday came, and I was back in Atlanta. My company held a big career fair for all of its non-agreement employees to expose them to all areas of the company. So I went, and hopefully, I'll find a new job within the Revenues and Accounting Department. I really want something new....and I really need it by the beginning of the year. So you'se guys keep my in your prayers.

Tuesday, somehow seemed to come and go so fast. Funny thing though...It was my birthday, hahahaha. So Late Happy Birthday to ME! Anywho, so I'm sitting in the office tuesday morning, and a co-worker of mine comes in and basically gives me four tickets to the Hawks game, without even knowing it was my birthday...aint God Good!! So I invited some of my closest friends and we had a blast. But I didn't know that food at the game costs so much!!!

Birthday Gifts:

Momma: A Poster of the origin and meaning of my real name....Best Gift Ever
She also gave me a book on Success. She's always good for those types of gifts.

KS: The First person to tell me happy birthday

Sway: An American Express Gift Certificate, and a great card.

Cat: A Card, and some loot.

BP: Four Tickets to the Hawks vs. Knicks game

PPATL: A bunch of shout outs on the list serve!!

I also had an interview with Wentworth Marketing. For those of you out there that have ever thought and/or consider applying with them...please let this be a warning to show that everything that glitters isn't golden! I think the people are mad cool....but the job just wasn't for me...even though they offered me the job....wednesday

Wednesday, well I had the second interview with WM, and this is what made me see that it just wasn't worth it. I mean I don't mind putting in hard work or anything, but commission based pay....nahhhh. It just seemed like one of those get rich quick schemes. Anywho, yesterday was really stressful. I had planned on going to WC for Bible Study last night, but considering that I didn't get out of the interview till 8:00pm last night....well you can gather that for yourself.

I also went to the dentist yesterday. I'm really adament about getting some sort of dental work done. Its not like my mouth is all jacked up or nothing, but its something that I've been wanting for quite some time now. So I hope that goes well. I made an appointment today with one of the top Orthodontist in the nation, so we'll see how that goes as well....

And so here I sit....its thursday....not much has gone on today. I woke up this morning, so that was a blessing...made it to work at a decent time. Had a decent lunch......and I'm glad it's 3:34pm. Hopefully by the time I get finish posting, I can pack my bags and be out the door, lol. I've got class tonight, so I hope that goes well. I really wanna finish the semester off on a good note ya know?

So you'se guys be safe, and keep me in your prayers....and I'll do the same!

"God, I need a Miracle"
