Love's Holiday by EW&F

It's raining outside tonight, so I turned off most of the lights in the house, found myself a nice quiet spot so to find a few moments in this spiral called life to break away...find some sense of serenity, and begin to put my thoughts down in writing. I had contimplated on several different title's prior to posting, but my course of events led me to "Love's Holiday". It's another one of those titles, like most of mind that have underlying meaning. Fortunately, this one I don't mind talking about.

You see me and KH have been talking for the last week or so about Earth, Wind, & Fire. She has been wanting to cop their Greatest Hits album. Well, as I sat down to begin typing, I turned out Launch.com, to listen to some soft jams as I typed. Well, lo and behold the first song that comes on is "Love' Holiday" by Earth, Wind, & Fire.....ironies...I tell ya!

I'm trying to use this time tonight to sit back and reflect on all that has been going on in my life....personally, nonpersonally, school wise, work wise...etc. I guess I'll begin on the personal level, since 20 years from now, that part might be the part that matters most to me.

- KH and I are becoming good friends. She gives good advice, and always seems to bring a smile to a bruh's face, which I guess is a good thing.
- I stepped on the scale at 214lbs this morning!!! Slowly getting down! I've been doing the subway thing for a min, now, but quite honestly I think its the stress added by school & work. I don't want to attribute weight lost to stress, but I don't see much else getting it done these days.

Unpersonally
- SOMEBODY STOP ME! I've been on this shopping fringe for like the past two weeks or so! It started with the Labtop (click here), then it was a shirt and a painting for the house. Then it turned outrageously into a sweater on monday; shirt, pants, earpiece, watch fix, and shoes on tuesday; Cologne & sweater on wednesday (today).....I think Cumberland Mall is getting far too much money out of me! I think I'll cut back for some time now. I've alway been the person to buy things all at once, then not shop again for clothes for months. I don't need to make any bad habits, considering I don't have a whole lot of money.

School
- I never knew Graduate level Accounting would be so indepth. Man these folx are talking a language I've never heard before. Ok, let me quit lying, I understanding, it's just a lot to encompass. I missed turning in my spreadsheet this week though, which means I need to really get on the ball next week.

-Finance is cool...I guess! It's either, everyone else really gets the topics we discuss, or everyone is just as lost as I am, lol!

Work
-WOW, that would probably take an entire post! I think I'll refrain from posting on that just yet, because I haven't completely got my feet wet, and my thoughts complete.


So what else is new KJD? I'm diggin the jump drive I got for Christmas! Valentine's Day is coming up. KH and I agreed to be each other's Valentine's, but I really don't know if/how that is going to work out. I might end up alone...but hey, it's cool! My phone doesn't ring anymore (hold up, checking phone.....). It's a shame...since January 26th, I've only had 20 incoming calls...that's what...an average of 7 incoming called (rounded up), not to mention that 3 of them were from the same person (KH). Speaking of KH, I was kinda hoping that she'd call tonight...........oh well.

Anyways, my 30 mins are up tonight, and I have to get ready to hit the grind tomorrow, but I'll be back, hopefully sooner than before! But if you guys need me, I think you know how to reach me!
