I heard a "crack"

Well....here I am again.  Guess it didn't take too long for me to resurface.  It's gloomy outside today...some woman name Sandy has decided to drop by this weekend.  I'm sitting here, watching a little football on a Saturday evening.  I haven't done much today though...woke up...cooked brunch....made a sad attempt to clean up, then commenced to watching football....sad life....I know.

So I was telling a friend of mine the other day, that most of the time I leave lights off in the house...especially when I'm here alone.  I really don't know why, though.  Maybe it's because it keeps the light bill low ($45.00 last month), or perhaps there is some deeper psychological reason for it, that I don't have the mental energy to describe today.

So yesterday after work I have this strange burst of energy.  I don't really know where it came from, because obviously I'm still suffering from emotional tiredness.  Go figure.  Anywhos, so I decided to go for a 2 mile run.  I laced up the sneakers, and got a good stretch in.  As I take off, I'm feeling good...the stop watch is tracking, and I'm feeling that this is going to be a 18 min or less run.  Little did I know...as soon as I hit the 1 mile mark, I heard a very distinctive "crack" in my left knee.  The same knee I had ACL surgery on years ago.  Needless to say, I stopped right there, and gingerly walked home :(.  I woke up this morning to a slight pain this morning, but I'm hoping it'll go away by Monday.

Anywhos, it's after 6pm now....and since there's no one here to talk to, maybe I'll get wings from Buffalo Wild Wings tonight.  I have a coupon, lol.

Note to self....maybe tonight is a good time to start working on your budget again......boy I can't wait until payday.
